Yesterday morning the school nurse called me and led with, "she is okay, but". Never good.
So the short version- she was chasing Austin playing tag, the transition between the asphalt and the spongy green flooring had a lip, over which she tripped, flew, did a somersault and then landed scraping the left side of her face. Her forehead and nose were both bleeding and the amount of blood spooked her. Mrs. Cox took her to the nurse who cleaned up the blood and bandaged her face. They got the nose bleed stopped and iced her eye. Good job Nurse Hunter!! They asked her if she wanted to come home and she said NO! So back to class she went. Then the nurse called me and relayed this all to me. My head immediately started pounding and I thought I was gonna throw up. I had three more hours to wait and they were a long three hours. This is what she looks like today. It didn't slow her down, we played outside until 9pm last night with Cody and Nathan and Aubrey. So fun. She is Tough.
