Jabber jaws Allie

Holy Moly Allie is a jabber jaws baby!
Just in the last few weeks she has reaaally started to talk up a storm! It is SO cute.
Her favorite thing to tell me is "Dog dog....barked!" and then I always ask her, "really?? who barked?" "Mollie". It's ALWAYS Mollie according to Allie. lol.
Her other faves are to ask for watermelon, which is totally because of my Dad, and to tell on Addison by grabbing her head, pointing at Addi and saying "bonked". LOL. She cracks me up.

Bowling

We have been in our bowling class for a few weeks now and Addison still really likes it which is nice. She has gotten a lot better, not in her form, of course, but in running and hurling her ball down the lane at a faster pace, lol. And more importantly, she has a good time every week.

Yes I am wearing my Uggs, because it has been so nice and cold in the mornings here. I have learned that cold is relative. lol.

Allie always comes well equipped to bowling. We have to wake her up to bring her most Tuesdays, so it's breakfast on the go! Sleepy little girl.

Evelyyyyyyn Come OUT!

Addison is confused but it's adorable.
She lives in her tutu and dancing shoes and the last couple days has been saying in a super fake sad voice..."I want Evelyn come out and dance with me", then she runs to me and sticks her face to my belly and yells to Evelyn- "Wake up! Come out! Dance with me!!". Then just randomly throughout the day she says "I'm gonna dance with Evelyn when she gets here". and then goes about her business. It's sweet.
September is going to be a busy month for us. Addi starts preschool on the 16th. It's 2 hours a day, twice a week, Tuesday and Thursday 9-11. Not a real intense program! lol. But it'll give her something that is her own when Evelyn gets here, and give her some play time with other kids which she'll love. Then on the 22nd she turns three! WOW! I can't believe it! Then, Seth's family is coming down to stay at the beach house on the 27th, and that means Jimmy will be here and they are ABSOLUTE crazy besties. She vacillates between beating him up and holding his hand, it's adorable how crazy they are together. Plus my mom is coming sometime in there and Great Gma too. What a month! Plus all our normal life stuff to fit in there. But Robbie goes on family leave a little before my due date so that'll be good.
Addi just did it again, yelling to Evelyn, are you awake? Come out! She's a riot.

Addison's pinboard

So like a day ago I asked Tovah to make this for Addison. Basically what I said was that I wanted a pinboard right by Addison's bed so I could put pictures of people who love her on the pinboard for her to look at at night. I hope it will help her have sweet happy dreams and just good feelings as she goes to sleep. Never did I dream it would be so perfectly what I envisioned. Better even. Now to get busy ordering photos!! I thought this would take a lot longer than under two days!! lol. Tovah means business!!!

Due Dates

Okay, so I love that with each pregnancy it seems you get a new due date every couple weeks or so. lol. Seriously. Before I started having babies I didn't know this. But I have mine written in my journal for you girls and thought i should put them in here in case you have questions or are interested when you start having babies. I know I wanted all the info. from my mom, so maybe you girls will too.....

I have a hunch she'll be a September baby, but it'll be great either way. Both of my sisters are October birthdays and they are AWESOME girls, so that would be GREAT too. I am now due in a little over 4 weeks (depending on which due date we are using! lol, my dr. is using Sept. 29th, so let's go with that!) and I feel pretty good. I am getting big and slow and heartburn is truly trying to kill me, but besides that, we're good! haha
I looked at my chart yesterday and I've gained just a couple pounds since the middle of July so that's good. I definitely did my fair share of weight gaining early in this pregnancy! lol. Although with the big girls I went 6 weeks or so with no gain either. I guess it's my pattern.

Nurseries!!!

Oh Robin is the best. He got up this morning and against his will started moving furniture for me. The cribs got switched, Allie now has her white one back and the cherry crib is in Evelyn's room. He moved the twin in Evelyn's room to under the window and the dresser against the far wall. Now I feel like things are somewhat settled. All bedding is washing now so I can put rooms back together!

Then Tovah came over and brought the pinboard she made for Addison and it blew me away! I am SO lucky to have her, she is amazing! I will post a pic on here after Addison wakes up. It is better than what I envisioned and I love it.

I also ordered some vinyl (finally) for Addison's bedroom that will go over her dresser. That's the bird on the branch picture above. The branch will be white against her grey walls and the bird will be yellow. I am pretty obsessed with it. I am so glad I chose yellow for her room. It's so chic.

When we put the white crib back in Allie's room I left the drop side down low enough that it's serving only as a rail so she can't fall out. She can, however, climb in and out on her own as she demonstrated about a hundred times. =) We will see if this can serve as a transition to her toddler bed or not. She went down for nap though and had no issues, so we'll see....

I hope it works as I will not miss that crib when she is out of it!

So thank you (grouchy), I mean sweet Robin for moving all furniture for me. Now I can spend the next few days organizing and cleaning and decorating. Lovin' it!

Baby O Baby

So I am laying on my side right now and Evelyn is up in my ribs hurting more than any baby ever has. This little girl is STRONG.
So my due date is in 5 weeks and 4 days. How the heck did that happen???
This pregnancy really has FLOWN by. The due date for Evelyn is exactly the same day three years apart from Addison's due date. September 29th. and I had Addi on the 22nd. So if I have EV on the 22nd that is like a little over 4 weeks from now. Holy Moly. Holy Moly. 4 weeks? OMgosh I am not ready. But I am so ready. What a dream this all is. A lot has happened in the last three years. Since January of 2007, Rob started academy, I transferred to Sac and then six months later quit my job, Rob graduated third in his class and we moved to a place we had never heard of, we had Addison, bought a house, I got a huuuge SUV, had Allie, Rob bought a lotus, and now Evelyn....um, ya....in less than four years. Does that all seem possible? barely.

The clerk at the grocery asked me the other day how old the girls were and I told him 2 and 1. Then he noticed I was pregnant and asked me when I was due and I said "next month". He was a teenager, maybe early twenties and you could see the wheels turning like doing the math wondering if that was even possible. lol. I am not sure he was convinced. =) He looked very confused.

Eves, I can't wait for you to get here. I wish i was due in two weeks instead of five! I love you and I love how strong you are even though its a little painful at times.=) Your sisters are excited for you and Daddy can't wait either. You are one very anxiously awaited babe. We love you.

Stocked UP!

Omgoodness I LOVE my Grandma. and i love my foodsaver too. (not equally). lol.

Grandma is here and has spent the last couple days making soups....taco, tamale, white chicken chili and a weird beef one with V8, and then portioning them and then sealing them and then freezing them.
I am obsessed with soups and stews all winter long and since Evelyn is due the end of September, it will be doubly wonderful to be able to just grab some bread, a salad and then grab a bag of soup, heat it and know we are all being fed a healthy, homemade dinner. I am thankful to Grandma now, but I KNOW I will be even more thankful later when her hard work realllly pays off and we are able to enjoy these wonderful soups. i AM SO THANKFUL. (and I have secretly been praying she will never leave).

Anniversary....yummmmmm

Today was Robbie and my nine year anniversary! Wow! It does not feel like 9 years. I guess that is a good thing.
of course of all the pics we could have, he takes one of me with wayyy tooo much dessert! lol.
Grandma had the girls and we went to dinner and it was just nice to be together. I am 34 weeks pregnant and we are well on our way to having three girls under three, so these last few moments together before the baby comes are precious! =)
Robbie, I love you and I am so thankful we chose each other. I choose you every day. I could not do one day without you. Thank you for it all.

Headed to court.

Robbie had jury court today and since I have been wanting to go with him for a while and Great Grandma is here, we went. Together. It was cool to see another facet of what he does and just fun to spend time with him again. I miss him. I am starting to see why people think "date night" is important. ;) and of course Addison could NOT be left out of the picture.

Tovah made me this amazing set for Evelyn and I am obsessed with it. She even made this bird, by hand, with no pattern and it is truly amazing. I sat at my shower and cried and I didn't even care, this set makes me feel stuff. I love it so much.

Seriously. Tovah is amazing. look at his little claw. awww so cute. It makes me laugh every time I look at it.

I will never be able to thank Tovah enough for such a beautiful and thoughtful gift. It was originally going to be a crib liner for her to sleep on, but NO WAY this is going in her bed....what if she poopies on it or something?! NO way. It's going on the wall for sure. So beautiful. Tovah thank you SO much. I'll probably say it at least four hundred more times. Thank you!!!!!

Officers and Preggers

Who is scarier? Officers packing guns or preggers packing babies in the middle of August???

This is Becky and Mike, they are having a little boy and she is due a couple weeks before me. =) Also, Robbie and Mike are graves partners. Those poor men probably go to work and tell "crazy pregnant wife" stories! lol. As if. We are totally rational pregnant women.

The Mirror...

This is the mirror as ordered. I had no idea upon ordering that the swirls were actually cut metal and the white was the background....I thought they were painted on. But I LOVE that i was mistaken. It looks adorable yellow with the grey peeking through....

Okay, so this is this is the mirror originally purchased to go over Addison's dresser and originally black. So we sprayed it and then it was just too small for the space, but looks GREAT in this spot, I actually love it more there. Now I am trying to narrow down vinyl for over her dresser...birds I think.....we'll see.

Macie it is

The title says it all, her name will be Evelyn Macie Vandecar.
I guess I just like the "ie". Because Ivie and Allie both have it, so I kind of want her to have it too. It just seems to work for me I guess. =) Plus I saw her, so I know now. lol.
