Our First Free Choice Dress Day

At GAA, once a month, the kids that have not served a detention all month can wear whatever they would like provided it's within district standards.
So here she is!
Freakishly proud she is fashion forward enough to know hot coral is in.  (JK!, Kinda)

This was more of a stretch than a pose. LOL  She was a tad sleepy this morning.

Yes I painted her toes while she ate breakfast.  It's cute.

and her favorite mode of transportation.  and she thought it hilarious that Daddy buckled her backpack in to Allie's seat.

and away they go!...

And so it begins.

I sent addison in the house to get shoes and socks on and she came out in these.  They r mine. Lol

Milk Please.

I am feeling very "Mom of the Year" right now.

About a week ago, Addison ate school lunch.  She got a milk.
Later, she wanted another one.
They told her no.
Therein lies the rub.

So I called the school today and verified that yes she has $30 on her lunch account.  Milk costs 35 cents.

and then I punched and laminated these tags.

Apparently when you buy lunch, you get a popcicle stick from your teacher that you give to the lunch lady and she punches your five digit code in to the machine and the total for whatever you bought is deducted from your lunch account.  But once she gave her popcicle stick to the lady, and then later wanted a milk, they didn't know how to charge it to her.  Fine, I totally understand that.
However, this will happen again, or there will be days that she will take her lunch to school, but want to buy a chocolate milk.  Problem solved.  These will reside inside her lunch box and she can now take her little laminated card to the lunch lady, said lady can punch her code and give her a milk ticket.  No matter what the situation, sweet Addi will get her milk.
YES!  and yes I made two for when the first one "disappears".  :)

Thanks Tovah

The chevron runner was a gift from Tovah.  Thank You!

Addison's Drawings

And these are what Addison was so busy doing during Sacrament Meeting.

This first drawing is "The Holy Temple".
The one on the left is a spanish hymn book.  lol
The one on the right is the speaker at the pulpit.  Notice she nailed the light fixtures!
The top is of course the sacrament.
The bottom is Mary and baby Jesus, the nativity.  She was feeling Christmas-y I guess.

Sundays are Fun

Yesterday was a church Primary Missionary Day. Today was church and I don't know that i have ever been prouder of these girls.  Sacrament meeting was an absolute dream.  It ran twenty minutes over and the girls were a.mazing the entire meeting.  Thank you Girls!  Then to top that off, Evelyn Macie went off to nursery with absolutely no fussing and then after the meetings, each girl could tell me what they learned today in church.  YES!!!  Good job Ladies.

Thank you Grandma Lady for the little girls' dresses, they were originally the big girls'. :)
In my imagination, Evelyn is looking at me thinking, I love you Mommy.  Lol
(I have a very good imagination)

Allie is a wild woman!

First yesterday she was seeing how far she could ride with her eyes closed and now today she is jumping off curbs on her new bike!  Oh no.  I can't take another wild girl!

I am paint crazy!

Another painting project, I've lost my mind!!  Lol!  But I love it and its way cuter than what the guy you can pay to do this for you does.  His are plain.  I love mine. :)

Gate and Door

So my crazy motivated husband was busy yesterday.
The playhouse door took a beating last time we had company, to the point where it was nearly nonfunctional.
Sooooo, after a couple hours work its now better than ever.  It now seals more completely and swings like a dream.  Thank you Robin!!!
In addition, he put up this adorable gate between the playhouse and the house.  It looks great and eliminates the wind tunnel that was killing our raspberry plants.  Now I can actually plant back there with confidence.  I am excited to have vegetables next year.
