sleepy time

Rob went back to work after family leave on the 22nd, so that's 8 days ago now. and every single day all three girls have napped at the same time. I think I have gotten so used to it, I may possibly be devastated when this beautiful streak ends!

Evelyn had her first fussy spell yesterday. She was just a gassy girl. Probably due to the copious amount of sausage pizza I ate. Oops. Nothing else has bothered her yet, but I think that did! Lesson learned!

Today was Addison's Halloween party at school. She loved being able to wear her ballerina outfit. So Cute.
These pictures were taken at home. I couldn't stay and join her at the party because I had all three girls this morning and Rob was at an OT detail for the show Justified on FX. I don't mind overtime, but it was a pretty busy morning to get Addison and Allie and Evelyn all in the car and at school by 9 by myself. But Fun!

She looks so much like Robbie sometimes. and I am starting to see myself in her too which is awesome to me.

and the stockings were hung...

Yes I know it's not even Halloween yet, however, I am on the ball this year and now all the girls have matching stockings! I ordered Addi and Allie's after Christmas last year (and got them super cheap), and then last week I ordered Evelyn's. The timing was perfect too, because the little angel one just barely came out. Yay!

Elaine has been wanting to make the girls Christmas quilts, but I hadn't seen any fabric that I knew I would want to look at every holiday season for the rest of my life...until these collections. I LOVE them. and they are enough alike to go, but yet enough different to be different if that makes sense. I love 'em. Yay! I am excited!

One month ago today...

This is sweet Evelyn right now sleeping in Daddy's chair. One month old.
Evelyn I love you. I am so glad you are here. I don't know what my life was like before you. I can't even remember. Getting to know you has been pure joy.

Spoiled Mama

Yes all three girls are sleeping again. Laundry is done, beds are made, it's allll good.

Robbie just went back to work yesterday so today is a little struggle for the big girls. They miss him terribly. Allie woke up this morning saying Daddy Daddy and Addison has asked three times where Dad is and when he'll be home. They miss him so much. I am glad they care that he's not here, I guess missing him is better than the alternative! =)

Anywho, I know it sounds weird, but this transition, (so far) has been an easier one than going from one child to two. Probably because I have Addison who is a huge help. Thank you Adds!!

Ahhhhh....

Yes I am good. All three girls napping. With no Evelyn crying. YES!!! I am telling you, this baby is spoiling me! I am SO glad I had my hardest baby first.

Evelyn is in her swing, and the big girls are in their beds of course. I am feeling it today, 3 babies is not that hard! =)

The sling

Okay, so today is the first day of me here with the 3 girls and it is going Amazingly well! So far today I have stripped two beds, remade one, done 2 loads of laundry, unloaded and reloaded the dishwasher and cleaned up the front room and the kitchen. Both girls are dressed with their hair done in bows. I have also taken a shower, (not something to be taken for granted!!!=) and I found Evelyn's playmat and the sling I thought was lost forever. All of this done with no one crying at all! Yay for me! and yay for Evelyn, I put her in the sling and unlike my other children, she loves it so far!! and she loves her playmat. So between the binky and the sling, she has further proven her diversity from Addi and Allie. lol. I secretly love that she's so different. She's my curveball for sure!

Uhoh, and now I just found out that instead of three on for Robbie like we thought, he now has overtime two additional days! So it'll be 5 on, one off, 3 on. oooh....that's what I get for being so optimistic! =) lol. I gotta give Addison props for helpfulness--- I was upstairs putting a load of laundry in and apparently Evelyn fussed. I came back down to find one binky missing from the counter. So I asked Addison where it went. She had climbed up on the stool, found the binkies, given one to Evelyn and she was then laying on her playmat happy as a clam, I had no idea she had ever fussed. Thank you Addi!!!!

Rain Day!

It is a total rain day today and I love it! We even saw rainbows this morning. =) And I am digging this coat Allie is wearing, Heather gave it to her for her first birthday and I LOVE it. Thanks Heather!!!

I just checked our 10 day forecast and not only is there 4 days of possible rain, there is not a single temp over 75 degrees!!!  Hallelujah!  Fall is here!!!

Lombardi Ranch

Today we went to Lombardi Ranch with Addison's preschool. Fun Stuff.
