The hair song
I just put the girls down and Addison asked me to stay after I read books to hear her song. So of course I am up for this and she proceeded to sing me an original Addison composition entitled "I love my hair". (LOL)
The tune and lyrics, everything of her own making for sure with phrases like, "I loooooove my hair, it is just like tangled, and like the mermaid with the red hair except yelllllllllooooooooooow". It was all I could do to keep a straight face and nod and say "oh yes, yes, beautiful song, I love it, soo good". I so wish I had it on video cuz the whole time she was singing about her hair, she was brushing it with her fingers and laying it out straight on her pillow all around her head. oh my goodness Addison you are so dang funny. Very original.

Evelyn and Addison are besties. Evelyn had her debut in the highchair yesterday and loved being up and able to see everything. So today after breakfast (sweet potatoes again), she is sitting in her chair watching the girls do a little art project on the counter. Everybody's happy...and if Eve's not, Addison makes it her personal challenge to make her laugh. I AM SO LUCKY! Right now Addi's saying "I am going to tickle your ribbons!", which means she is going to "count" Eve's ribs. lol. Don't ask me, she and Grandma Lady cooked up that statement together, but it's working, Eve is cackling as Addi tickles her ribs. lol.

What Daddy does is hard. You will never know all of it; but what Daddy does is sad sometimes and really hard. Snuggle him more; if you're 20 and reading this for the tenth time - call him.
Evelyn is 5 months old today. It has flown by as we have basically been on the go since she was born. It makes me sad to lose her as a tiny baby, but she is so much fun that I am just smiling all day long. She is so so happy all the time and is seriously just a joy.
She is eating baby food now and doing really well. She had peas today and liked them. I loooove that she can eat food now, new flavors have got to be exciting after having only breast milk and formula.
It's 6:56pm and all my kids are in bed after a crazy fun day. They were super tired and I gotta say, so am I. We had Shannon up from Simi Valley for dinner last night and then Shane and Tovah came over and we were all up late, then Rob and I were up until 2 a.m. talking and although it was awesome, I am exhausted!
Off to bed for me. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz =)

Canada
Okay this trip to Alaska we were with my parents and BOTH of my Grandmas. lol. It was awesome.
Okay girls, this is of course Grandma and Grandpa and Great Grandma and next to Grandma Lady is your other Great Grandma, Grandma Leavitt. Grandma Lady's Mom. She was an awesome lady.
Alaska
This is from one of our trips to Alaska. It totally makes me want to go back. Valdez was beautiful. We ferried up there and then drove back down thru the Yukon. GORGEOUS.
