Sundays are Fun days!

Today was a weird one.  Addison threw up strawberries at 5am and again sometime thereafter that I only found out about later. In the grand tradition of not making a mess she threw up in the sink both times.  Thank you Addison!  Then we got up and moving to go to church anyway.  I taught the 11 year olds and It was so much fun.  I really did enjoy myself.  Then the girls were so tired after church, these r the best pics we could get!  :)   and addison has completely recovered.  I think I od-ed her on strawberries!

More From Disney....

Dad hung out with Macie while she took a little cat nap.  :)

Upside down Allie on the Carousel...

Addison trying to freak Jimmy out.  LOL  she's so funny.

Allie's very own bag of cotton candy that she got to "be in charge of".  Thankfully that included sharing with her sisters and cousins. :)

Ride Faces :)

Rob and girls on the Cars ride.

Robbie told Addison to make this face, it is a total fake, she really wasn't scared and has ridden this a bunch of times. Please no one call CPS.  Thanks.

Robbie and I on Cal Screamin' together for the first time.  ;)

All the kids with their balloon animals from dinner.  We love to go to the Mexican food restaurant in Downtown Disney and get balloons...Owen and Jimmy loved it too.

Macie danced her Belle around all night.

Sundays are Fun days

My parents are here and it is awesome!  My mom took this picture...I don't know why we didn't get one with the girls with she and my Dad.  Probably because it was after church and we were all hungry. :) church was great and now to get ready to have pot roast tonight.   My favvve.  Thanks Mom and Dad.  :)

False Alarm!

And the best thing that happened today? We thought Addison had to get two more shots but when I got her there for them....the paperwork was wrong and she didn't need them! YESSSSSSSSSSS That is an awesome surprise when you are five! lol

Gregg Anderson Academy

Well, it's official.....we got in to Gregg Anderson Academy!  Yay!!!!!!
I feel much better about the prospect of Kindergarten now.  :)))
We received our acceptance letter and I cancelled the rest of the day and came home to tell Robbie.  Excited does not begin to explain how we feel.
GAA is a new school in our district, last year was the first year....It is three miles away from our house in the opposite direction of Sundown, the school we are zoned for.  Three miles is TOTALLY doable and we are excited to have her at the new school.  It is a STEM school, which means an emphasis on Science, Technology, Engineering and Math, we will see in time what that all means!
The other huge perk of GAA is that they require uniforms.  We have a two sided sheet of all the requirements to be in code....they are SERIOUS!  LOL  But basically it boils down to this....she must wear a collared shirt every day and tops can be either solid navy blue, gray, white or burgundy and bottoms must be either navy blue, khaki, or black.
I have shopping to do!
I kinda hoped against hope she would get in, so as far back as last year I have been buying things that would work when I see them on clearance.  :)  These shorts are GAP Kids purchased for $2.70 each and the top is clearance Target.  Yay for sale prices!  I hit the Children's place website last night after Corey next door told me they were having a crazy sale....that helped too!
Anyway, we are really excited about Kindergarten now and Addison is OVER THE MOON about the idea.  She cannot wait to start!
Another exciting development, I taught her to tie her shoes this morning.
I told her she could have Converse Jack Purcell's, (she had no idea what they were) but was excited about "school shoes".  She learned this morning and I ordered her a pair this afternoon.  Good Job Addison!

I am ready....

To go back to Dania Beach.
Where life was mellow and Kindergarten was not fast approaching us.
Kindergarten starting in less than two months is ruining my life.

Happy Father's Day!

Just a couple pictures of my Dad with us. :) Not to get super mushy, but I am learning things as I get older. Shocking, I know. I am learning that parents don't EVER stop parenting. We are all big now and have grown up lives and mortgages, but yet still he parents. Never in a "tell us what to do" way, but in a mellow guiding way. And I always know that whatever he is guiding me to do is the best thing, not only for myself, but often for others too. I will never know all he knows. I do know that much. He and Mom have parented five, very different kids, to successful, fulfilled lives. THAT IS AMAZING. We have bumps in our roads, but we know how to handle them, from what we have learned in the past and the fact that he is still here to help us. I am always very thankful for my Dad.

Welcome Tristan Jared Justin Slover!

We went out to Oak Hills a few days ago and it was an awesome trip.
The girls were enamored with Baby Tristan and of course they always love to play with sweet Noah.
Tristan was born five weeks early but is growing well and looks like a champ.
