Sleepy sweeties.

8 oclock and all is well...everyone in my house is asleep but me.  I have the sweetest family.

Rob is a lot of things.  The few I will name include: so so smart, well-spoken, confident.
Those are the ones that pertain to his awesome-ness today and the ones that are the most attractive.

Rob is in court, on a very important case.  The interaction that constitutes this case happened over three years ago, this is the second time this case has come to trial.  Rob just raised a question, that in all that time has never been raised.  I can't be specific, but this particular question of California's vehicle code has never been raised to the DA, any of Rob's sergeants, his lieutenant or his captain.  All of these individuals then gathered together and called Sacramento, where the CHP Academy is located and all things vehicle code are determined.  They then waited on hold for 25 minutes as Sacramento tried to determine an answer for them. Ya.Wow.

I would literally pay a hundred dollars to sneak in to the courtroom right now and see how his testimony this afternoon goes.  I think it will be interesting...

LIGHTS!

I really love these lights and they turned out so nice in the playhouse!  Thanks to Robert, Uncle Ladd, Shane and Robbie for running the electricity to the playhouse and then doing all the interior wiring. Awesome!

Wickamella

The girls are playing a game that involves a lot of screaming and running away and
apparently it's because the witch - Wickamella - eats people, and Addison is Wickamella right now. Wow!

Lunch date and errands partner

My gorgeous girl and I spent all morning together running errands all over town and it was great. I truly enjoy her, she is pure joy. I love one on one time with each of my girls. Thanks Al for a great day!

Lucky Dog!

Our lazy old guy! :) He has been inside more than usual lately. He has definitely figured out how to be inconspicuous!

I heart electricians.

Okay, so Rob's parents are here and they have been working like crazzzzy.  The playhouse is now hardwired for power.  Which means no cords at all.  You walk in, flip a switch and have light, or a porch light, or air conditioning.  This is the air conditioning switch.  Need to dust the sawdust and paint around it.
  Amazing.

Then we wanted the girls to have lights by each bunk, but didn't like the idea of open outlets, so Grandpa had the idea of wiring in a switch and then hard wiring a light in, so they would only have to flip the switch to have a reading lamp.  Genius.  Love it.  Safety first.

Lighting!

Grandma Vandecar put together these green covers for the girls mattresses. They are sewn on three edges and the long back edge is closed with snaps which will make it easy to remove and wash regularly.  yay!

I LOVE these lights.
We were walking through Ikea totally not looking for lighting and there they were.  I fell in love and now here we are, they are hung and super beautiful.  They are BETTER than anticipated.  Love them.

Tangled Dolls

Here are the big girls with their tangled dolls from Grandma and Grandpa Vandecar.  They LOVE them.  So sweet.
