I realized I have been slacking on the Sunday Pictures, so here is another.  The big girls wanted to wear "looooong dresses" today, so here they are in their long dresses.

Allie is obsessed with her wig right now.  She's been wearing it ever since dinner and keeps touching it and telling sisters to "look at my beautiful hair".  LOL.  She is cracking me up big time!  I am trying to get her to put on her Snow White dress with it, but no luck so far. She likes this dress from Auntie Amber too much.  Adorables!

 This picture is  a visual representation of one of the many reasons I love my husband.

The window motor on his driver side window in the corvette was going and then I think completely went out. 

To get this fixed at a dealer, you would pay a few hundred dollars for the part plus labor equaling a little over $600.

After much internet research, he found the part for $80, took a little over an hour and put it in himself.  Now it works great.  Ahhhh, my wallet and myself are thankful to be married to a man who can fix nearly anything.

I always wonder what my room looked like when i was little.  Where did I sleep, what kind of bedding did I have.  I know that sounds weird, but I wonder. 

Anywho, so Addison, this is your bedroom.
You also have a black dresser that matches your bed and a lamp you are obsessed with and keep on nearly all night every night.

The pillow with your name on it came from Grandma Vandecar, she made it on her fancy sewing machine.  You love your bedding and say you want to "keep it forever".  :)  Yay babe, me too.  Your room has been like this since you were about 3 and will probably stay like this for many years to come.

Our Run

Addison woke up this morning, came in to my room, and the first thing out of her mouth was to ask if we could go for a run together.  So once the heat of the day faded, we ran.

I am so proud of you Addison.  You ran a solid mile, walked only very little and then sprinted from the mailboxes home.  You did so amazing.  I look forward to many more runs with you my baby.

It warmed my heart when she asked two different times, as we ran, to hold my hand.  It made me emotional that this girl, who isn't so little anymore, wants to hold MY hand, and want to run WITH ME.  Addison, I will always be here to "run" with you.  I am proud of the girl you are becoming.  You are smart and strong and driven, and I am lucky to be your mom.  I Love You.

More fun!

This is Addison with Alli's dog Ginger.
She was obsessed with this cute little poodle mix and i have to admit, I was a little enamored myself.  This little dog was so well behaved and so sweet and so little and so cute.  ahhhh, I won't be dreading getting a little dog eventually after all!  And Addi was really good with her.

This is what happens when Addison is not coated in SPF 400.  This is definitely the worst sunburn she's ever had.  But it didn't ever hurt as we put tons of aloe on it right away, and this morning it had turned brown.  whew. Sorry Adds, we will go back to being the psycho sunscreen parents now.  Lesson learned.

Swimmin' at The Tyler's

Thursday morning we jumped in the car and headed to Visalia.  It's not a long trip, 2.5 hours, to visit Rob's roommate from academy John, and his wife Alli and their daughter Aubrey.
The girls were a great mix and had so much fun together.  and of course, if there is water involved, my kids are IN IT!
All the girls did great, and stayed in the pool for HOURS.  It was an awesome time.
