Days on, days off, days on, days off

That is what dictates our whole existence.

We live our lives three or four days at a time.

We do totally different things based solely on: "days off" or "days on".

Most people would think that's an awful thing, but I'm gonna say it out loud....I love it!!!!

It really is like living two separate equal lives. You can never get bored. The traditional Monday thru Friday schedule the rest of the world rocks leaves little opportunity for spontaneity. Your whole family is together only Saturday and Sunday and let me tell you, Saturday is Not the day you wanna go do anything. Disneyland is packed, the beaches are packed, etc. Having sundays together would be wonderful, but as that's just not possible right now, I don't fret it.

However, having Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday off is pretty darn spectacular for us right now. Best day to do anything? Wednesday. Beaches are dead, Disney is comparatively dead, zoos, movie theaters, etc...dead. I love it. So, for now, thank you CHP for twelve hour days, may they never change! (at least until Addison starts school!)
