My baby shower was SO fun!

I had so much fun at my baby shower! Thank you AnnaMarie and Es for hosting such a great party and everyone for coming and everyone else who sent such thoughtful gifts! I feel loved! =)

Baby Shower =)

Tomorrow is my baby shower. I am actually really excited. It's at 2pm here in Lancaster at a friend's house and I think it will be a lot of fun. The girls throwing it are so so fun and the games they have planned involve chocolate and diapers so you know that will be interesting! and I am so excited that my bff Heather is coming all the way from Riverside to go with me. We will take lots of pics to post on here soon. yay!
Oh and it rained and was foggy almost all day today. YES!

IT RAINED!

Oh yes it is true! It rained! Hallelujah!
and now the forecast is saying that it will rain every day for the next 6 days!!!! I am a believer once again. Thank you Johnny Mountain!!! (Our lovely LA weatherman). Boo Dallas Raines. (too much hair gel and slightly orange LA weatherman that I can't stand to watch).
I may have this baby on a rainy day yet! =))

Oh, we went to a little party last night at a friend's and our friend Rachelle had her three week old there. Addison was pretty curious and Rachelle held the baby down to Adds. Addison first kissed the baby's whole face, then put her arms around the baby and hugged and then went cheek to cheek with the baby. It was adorable and almost made me cry. It was so sweet and such a relief. So hopefully Addison will not beat her sister with a hairbrush like a certain big sister i know who will remain unnamed!!!

Okay, now they are saying tonight showers and tomorrow rain and then....
25th, 26th, 27th, 28th: RAIN
Sure thing Mr. Weatherman. If it doesn't rain tonight or tomorrow I am ceasing even checking the forecasts.
The 28th would be a good day to have the baby though because my mom comes on the 27th.

Weathermen are Always wrong

I will definitely NOT be having the baby tomorrow. Like no chance.
It also has not rained a single drop yet and doesn't look as though it will anytime in the near future. Seriously. Do they just guess? I swear I could be a weatherman.

What's in the forecast?

So....for all of you who are not familiar with the Antelope Valley, we don't get rain. Like ever. Okay, occasionally, but it is very very rare. (unfortunately). I am all for blue sky and sunshine, but every single day? I know I sound ungrateful, but seriously! Rain or even clouds once in a while would be really nice!!!!
Anyway, Addison was born ON A RAINY DAY. One of very few that "fall". (I use that word loosely, we have no fall)
I said at the time that that was how I knew she would come that day was because of the rain. Wellll.....it has been in the seventies each day lately and of course blue sky and sunshine. Then I looked at the ten day forecast.
Monday and Tuesday: Sunny and 70 degrees. but then:::::
Wednesday: RAIN
Thursday: RAIN
Friday: RAIN
Saturday: RAIN
Sunday: RAIN

hmmmm.

I also noticed that Thursday is the 22nd. I was born on April 22, Addison on September 22 and now? A new baby on January 22nd??????

I am anxious to see what's in the forecast!

Fun Day

Today was a fun day. Addison started the morning running some errands with Daddy, which is common but always fun. Then we headed for Burbank to do some Ikea shopping. We had to get the new baby's dresser to finish her room.

Anyway, Addison was looking especially cute and sporty in her new shimmer vest outfit from Aunt Nichole. And her beret from Sweetie Lisa. Thanks you guys! I loved her outfit today =)
