Kisses

These pictures are from the day we took Evelyn home from the hospital. We were ready to take her home and really let her meet her sisters. They had come to the hospital the day after we had her, but only for a little bit. The big girls were SO happy to see her when we got home.

Addison LOVES school!!!

I love these pictures! She is so happy to go to school and gets her backpack all out and on and off she goes. It's totally adorable and so good for her to have something that is her own right now. She LOVES IT!

Here we go....

This is me sitting in triage. I had gone to my regular appointment that morning with Dr. Berman and he sent me straight to the women and infants pavilion. That was a pretty strange surprise, but we were super excited. That's when we knew we were having a baby that day!!
This is me in the delivery room.
and not much later...this is sweet Evelyn just moments after she was born....amazing.
and Here she IS!!! Literally seconds after being born, I had her in my arms. Rob hadn't even cut the cord yet. What an amazing moment. wow. I cry every time I see this picture. We are so blessed.

So nice...

Its so nice when people see me, or any super pregnant person and they say you look amazing or so good.  3 people have said that to me today and it was appreciated.  Thanks chicks for making this prego feel like a hot mama!  ;-)  It was refreshing.

Addison.

My first love.  My first bundle of perfection.   You remain my angel.  My sweet and crazy little lovey.  You do, and always have, brought absolute joy to my soul.  Watching you get so big is amazing to me and breaks my heart.  But I am proud of the girl you are becoming.  You bring joy everywhere you go and make me and daddy and everyone around you so so happy.

The sweetest words I hear are "nuggle me".  I will always nuggle you.

"I'll love you forever, I'll love you for always, as long as I'm living my baby you'll be".

I love you so, so, so.  I cant wait to celebrate you today.

First Day of Preschool!

Okay these are from the morning of Addison's first day of school. She was super excited to go and had been talking about it for weeks. I anticipated maybe a moment of hesitance, but of course there was none. We lined up outside the door and she was good to go. She had her backpack and was wearing her sunglasses. Totally fearless.
School was wonderful. They did two fun projects, made pudding, had outside play time with TONS of toys, had circle time, the whole deal. She is very excited to go back.
In the preschool, a parent must volunteer four times a session, and the first day was our first volunteer day. Robbie was pretty determined to be the volunteer and I think he secretly loved it. and I loved it cuz i got some great insight on how things really went. lol. Hopefully he will post about it soon.

This is one of my most favorite pics ever.
Addison after school showing one of her projects.

Right before she went in to school. SO excited!!!
Kissy kissy!

BUSY!

okay Seriously, I feel like we have never been so busy...ever.

Between my drs appts and Addison having a reaction to walnuts and ending up in the ER at midnight, then Robbie working and court and Addison starting school and well baby check ups for both girls. Seriously this life is nuts right now. and oh ya....Evelyn is coming!
Okay, so I went to the dr. on Wednesday and had progressed a lot more than I was expecting. In fact, i have never progressed this far without being in active "think I might die" labor. So that was shocking, also shocking was my dr. saying--- "I'm on call, see ya tonight". uhhhh, no. That was the night before Adds started school and no way were missing that.
Addison had her first day of school today and it was AWESOME. She LOVED it and was smiling just as big when she came out as she was when she went in and that made me happy! She did a couple great projects, had to do some minding she wasn't too happy about, made a new friend Savanah, so overall exactly what I was hoping for!
Both girls had their well baby checkups, Addison is in the 50th percentile for weight and the 60th percentile for height. Allie is in the 15th percentile for weight and the 70th percentile for height. I don't know how Allie can be in the 15th percentile, but it's all good. She eats a good, healthy diet and A LOT of food, so she must just be burning it off. She is also cutting three teeth through right now and has been a little whiny today. Rob picked up some baby orajel so hopefully that will help.
Sweet baby Evelyn. Who knows when she will come. I don't feel all antsy pantsy this time. She will come when she is ready. Her room is done, her clothes are in there with her diapers and all the rest of her stuff, so whenever she is ready is fine with me. I did see a newborn at church on Sunday and it made my heart ache for her to come, but I am trying not to rush her too much. =)
Addison however wants her here yesterday. My friend Wendy lent us a book entitled "Baby Come Out" and Addison loves it. We read it twice every night. It's fun that she is so excited.

Jogging.

When I jogged home from Shane and Tovah's just now I realized I'm probably not having this baby any time soon. Lol I also realized that Addison is really fast as we were racing and she totally won.

Little girls..

Being a Daddy to little girls takes a special man.

I knew today with absolute certainty I had one of those special men when Robbie consoled Allie by saying..."come eat lunch with me now and we'll play tutus after".
And then when he was supposed to be putting her down for nap, I peeked in and they were sitting in the chair, with Allie's babies on their laps, both sound asleep.
Yes, I chose well for all of us. and I am so thankful.

Fall?

What an awesome day and yes it totally felt like fall!

We played outside, went for a good walk, bike rides with Daddy, flew our kite, and tonight I sat out in the backyard under a blanket and just enjoyed the beautiful sunset. ahhhhh what a wonderful day.
oh my goodness, Addison just came and peeked her head in our door and blew us a kiss, then saw that we were both holding bowls.....uhoh. She asked what we were eating and i said pasta. lol. she said "AGAIN?" (we had it for dinner), she was not convinced and we were totally busted. So of course, up she came to steal as much ice cream from us as possible.
Okay so this is TMI but hilarious..... so earlier today I was holding my belly cuz I was contracting and Addison was asking what was wrong and if my tummy hurt. Robbie told her that ya my tummy was hurting a little bit and Addison walks over to me all excited and says, "You needa do a big stinky poopy". Omgosh we almost died we were laughing so dang hard. She was so excited to help me solve my problem. lol. what a funny toad.

Evelyn is due in 19 days....=)))))

Addison is awesome!!!

So I went in to nursery today which I never do but I am glad I did because I learned a lot.  Like Addison rocks nursery.  There were ten to twelve kids today and Addison was the boss.  But in a good way.  She was the biggest helper with the littlest ones, she cleaned up 90% of the toys at the end and she made sure Allie got her fair share of snacks. Lol.  Oh and best of all she was all about singing time, knew all the songs and made requests.  I was a very proud mama.  Way to go Adds!!  She is definitely ready for Jr. Primary!!

Teeth, teeth, teeth!

Allie slept a solid 13 hours last night then finally woke up and 3 teeth had broken through!  What a big girl and how nice that she slept through it all!  She is so proud of her teeth.  Lol.  She had to show me and then come downstairs and show addi.  :-)

Last night robbie did teeth brushing.  Addison is really good about it.  I brush her teeth really good and then i give it to her to brush. Allie however is a nightmare.  She doesnt want me to do it AT ALL.  Like fit throwing time.   I did discover something last night though...robbie pulled out her toothbrush and my little toad just sits on the bathroom counter for him, sweet as pie, opens her mouth and daddy brushes away.  No problems.  I just stood there speechless.  Maybe there is such a thing as daddy magic....lol

okay, yep, NOW I'm pregnant

So I've been feeling pretty darn good these last few weeks and I was starting to feel like I may possibly have this baby in November, not October or September. lol.
But this morning walking around Target changed that. I had some good cramps last night and in Target some more good cramping and been feeling pretty crummy all day today. And while making dinner had a couple more pretty decent cramps. Yay!
Wait, that didn't sound right. =)

I definitely don't want to have her like now, today, but it's gotta all start with something and now i feel like at least something is going on. But I did this to myself for sure. I called Robbie yesterday and said "We're gonna have a baby today" to which he was silent and then said "shut up". So I go, "My water just broke, how far away are you?" "SHUT UP"! Yep, I scared the poop out of him and that is hard to do! lol. But I won't pull that stunt again as I do NOT want to be the girl who cried wolf.
Okay, have to go to bed. Rob is on A watch now and gets up at 3:30am, Allie has 3 teeth coming in and Addison has realized that Daddy is home all night long now and that is a huge temptation to come wandering in our room at all hours in the off chance we're going to let her come in our bed. In addition, Evelyn remains a "night baby", so all in all, it's a wonder I am getting ANY sleep!!

Breakfast conversation...

Addison to Allie:

"How is your morning? Good?"

"Ya"

"And how are your babies? good?"

"Ya"

"How is your diaper?"

"ICK" (and then a terrible face and stinky noise)

Good morning to all!!!

Epic

So i am posting this from my samsung epic.  I am not a tech person but i am a phone person, and this phone is seriously crazy cool.  Robbie has finally gotten to me.  I am beginning to appreciate technology.  Lol.  I loved my treo but its time to move on.  Thank you samsung for creating a phone better than robbie's and giving it a full keyboard.  :-P
