Now I'm the sneaky one...

Ok, so the girls know that while they nap, I am usually occupied in some manner. Which translates to them making clandestine trips to the loft after this toy or that book...
Well, not today! Each girl has Bee-lined for the loft only to be shocked to see sweet mommy sitting here on the couch! Agh! And back they run to their beds. Lol. The looks on their faces is hilarious...but it only took once and they haven't gotten up again. ya, I can be sneaky too.

O ALLIE

Ok so its ten. I come into allies room and she holds the 2 plastic snakes up and says, "this is the mommy snake and this is the daddy snake"!!  So excited.  She's also wearing gloves, a tutu and mismatched sandals.  I have no words, she just makes me laugh.

Okay so it's now ten twenty and after rocking her for 30 seconds she was out. Tired baby. She's had a hard time just falling asleep these last few days and while it makes me sad for her, it is pretty great to get to rock her and feel her fall asleep in my arms.

Bye Bye Lotus?

So Robbie listed his car on craigslist. He listed it for more than he paid and I really didn't think we'd get much interest. ... I was wrong.

I think I'll cry if he sells his car.
lol..?

Toy story

Okay, I have to document these pajamas for posterity.
They are Toy Story pajamas and as you can see are total high waters. But, she is NOT willing to let them go! Adds these are your absolute favorite article of clothing evvveeer. You wait for them to come out of the laundry so you can sleep in them again!

Clapping!

Evelyn is so tricky, she is clapping now and we are very excited about it!
Today she was standing up holding onto a chair and while clinging for dear life she was also clapping. Haha! My little multi-tasker!!! Sooo cute!

Sundays are always hard. Church is in the afternoon, no one gets their regular naps, it's just hard on little girls.
Addison fell asleep trying to eat dinner tonight and after a quick bath, went straight to bed and was asleep almost instantly. Evelyn the same.
Allie was another story. She went to bed, was very tired, but was just very restless. I was downstairs and she came down probably four times with different stories, "There is a big HUGE bug in my room", (a dead fly on her carpet), my elbow hurts, I need a band-aid, my finger has an owie (hangnail), you get the idea. Then finally she came down and she didn't say a word, she just looked at me and I could tell she was not being naughty or wanting to play, she was just overtired and so very restless. So I got off my elliptical, wrapped her in a light blanket, turned all the lights down to almost nothing and started to rock her. It took ten seconds and she was asleep.
I sat and rocked her and cried tears of thankfulness. I am so very glad that I just stopped and took her in my arms. She won't always be little and that makes me cry all by itself.
Allie, I love you. I love who you are. I love who you are to me. thank you my baby.

Jake's fort!

The girls built this little fort before going to nap today, complete with carpet, (my rug), lol. Jake made good use of it while they were napping!

The "Grey" dune buggy

Okay, so I have now realized I did not explain the new dune buggy....
So earlier this week were driving home from the store and Robbie handed me his phone with a picture up and said, "this is the one I was looking at", I clicked and called the number on the listing, talked to the gentleman that owned it, it was still available, so I pointed to Lake L.A. and away we went. That was easy.
So anyway, we get out there, it's immaculate, digital dash, beautiful seats, sound engine and transmission, (less a leak that's easy to fix), and most importantly, a complete roll bar. This is the main thing lacking on our other dune buggy, that I did want.
So we went home and talked about it a little and two days later he went out and drove it, bought it and brought it home. Too easy I think. But the price was right and it is a sound vehicle. and let's be honest, it's Addison's reason for complete and utter joy right now-- which makes it Robbie's reason for joy. We have taken it everywhere and Robbie is toying with the idea of making it his daily driver... he hasn't moved the Lotus since he bought this, so we'll see. haha

The new Buggy
(we hit Jack in the Box after the baseball game). I'll post better pictures in the next couple days.
The old buggy - for sale - any takers?? :)

Growing girl!

Addison you are going through a growth spurt for sure! Every morning for weeks you wake up, come to my bed and say, "I'm starrrrving"!
What's funny is the last few days you say you are starving then you say "I love that gray dune buggy"!

Breakfast

Allie is like me. and Amber.

Breakfast is just NOT her thing. She wakes up, says she is hungry, then eats two bites. It doesn't matter if it's pancakes with peanut butter and syrup, or captain crunch, she is not interested.
So today I told her she could have anything she wanted and she picked an apple and a little bit of Chex mix. Fine. Much healthier than pancakes, that's for sure. Now to see if she'll actually eat it!

Bike Crazy

So this is my new bike! I love it.
So this is how bike crazy happened...I love to go for walks in the evenings whenever Robbie is home, he does not enjoy this....So, he decided if we can bike instead of walk, everyone will be happy. and I am. thanks babes!

The girls love the trailer. So fun for them.

But I love these pictures because Evelyn is a crackup! I whipped out the camera and she seriously just went smile crazy! Robbie and I both noticed it right away, what a little ham!!!
and finally in these pics you can see her tooth. She's had it about ten days, but I can never get a picture of it!!! She is such a cute baby.

Bonny and Clyde

We hear them messing around by the fridge....
we had them reenact this so we could snap pics. This scares me. a lot. teamwork is an effective thing.

They were after their little yogurt shakes. I guess it could have been worse! =)

I am currently obsessed with bell peppers and thank you to Walmart for selling them to me at an inexpensive price in a three pack, one red, one yellow, one orange. LOVE.

Also, I am loving today because we have been playing a LOT of "school" and I have also gotten all of our dresses ironed for church tomorrow, which I dread....the ironing, NOT the church, obviously! haha! =)))

The Attic Fan

I married a man who can do just about anything. and it's a good thing because I had a Dad who could do anything. Rebuild a car, build our cabin, put an entry on my parents house, build his shop, the list goes on and on. So I am a pretty tough critic. But I chose well, because Robbie keeps getting it done! Thanks Babe for mounting our attic fan, it should help keep the whole house cooler during our hot hot summers. Yes!

BUSTED

Ok. so here's the story Miss Allie-Ballie... Mommy was upstairs doing laundry. Daddy gave you markers and then came upstairs to hang out with me...bad move. 20 minutes later, who knows who actually did this, you or Addison or a combination of the two of you. All I know is that it took 3 days to wear off and Daddy won't make that mistake again!
