To crib or not to crib?

Okay, here is my dilemma.....I LOVE ADDISON SLEEPING WITH US. I know you are all gasping, but seriously, I love it. How could I not? Look at her! Yes I know the "risks", but there all also SO many benefits for her. If you don't believe me, just google it. So many of the top pediatricians are recommending it now. And unless you are on nyquil, or some prescription drug how could a mother EVER roll over on her child?? I find that ludicrous. seriously.
So anywho, here is the dilemma....how often is too often? Right now she is sleeping with us about once or twice a week and she goes down just as easily whether in her crib or with us. But I look forward to the 6am nursing every morning cuz I bring her in bed with me for the rest of the morning.
My friend Beth is a doula and lactation consultant and she is so pro-family bed. You know I wanna jump on that bandwagon and move Addison's crib to the garage as she won't be needing it for a while. LOL just kidding! I do like her sleeping in her crib now and then.
So you moms that have a little more experience than me, email me and tell me where I am headed if I let her sleep in our bed more often than not.

As you can see, I totally agree with Heather. I do think it is wonderful to bring the baby into the crib in the morning and nurse together and then lay there for a little while together. Love it. But I DO NOT think it wise to sleep with her. You are asking for major sleep problems in the future. She sleeps well in her crib or not in her crib now because she is still so little. But just wait until she is 8 months. Plus, it isn't always the best idea for you and your husband. For me, that is my time to talk to Jason and catch up. With out kids! :) I also know doctors that recommend being a vegan. It doesn't mean they are right. There are many ideas out there. If you like it, then do it. Just be ready for harder sleeping later. She will get way too used to having you there all the time. She is NOT going to feel alone or any of that thought. I leave my kids to cry at night once they are old enough and I HIGHLY doubt they feel abandoned or unloved. OK, I left a post. Good luck with whatever you decide. You know how I feel. :) And I have to say, my three kids all sleep WONDERFULLY!!! And I don't sleep with them. Nursing is one thing in the morning together. But all night long is another. Let me know how it goes!
