It's DONE!

Took the girls' weather worn swing set and gave it a makeover.

Replaced the torn up plastic roof with a wooden one, restained the

whole thing and added a 3'x4' sandbox.

Kite Flying Day

It has been a weird, overcast, humid, cool, kind of day and after nap and playing in the sand box, it's been a kite flying day too!

Another Day, Anooooother Project

It's a dang good thing I didn't somehow unknowingly marry a lazy man.  He would have lasted about a month. lol

Anywho, the girls LOVE to dig which usually means they are digging in our rock, which is no bueno.....so last night after he finished the play structure roofing, he got some wood scraps out and built the girls this little sandbox.  Then after court this morning he ran by home depot and picked up 4 bags of sand for it.
He is putting 2 by 2 rails on the bottom right now so the bottom won't get wet and deteriorate, he's also pulling out his paint sprayer to stain it to protect it against the sun and then....the sand will go in and we will have three very happy little girls!

This is the perfect size sand box for my life because hopefully they won't be dragging in TOO much dirt from outside and because in the winter we can dump it, and then store it back bedside the house out of sight and mind.  Perfect. THANK YOU ROBIN!!!!!!  YOU ARE THE BEST DAD.

Uh hi.  Macie is ADORABLE.

Allie's fave get-up.  Jams and a tutu, with her favorite food - apples.

Gymnastics has begun!

Yesterday was Allie's very first day of gymnastics.  She is doing the kindergym class at Genesis.  She LOVED it.  The instructors were wonderful, she was very outgoing and had a lot of fun trying EVERYTHING.  Good job Allie!!!

Cartwheeling Allie

Flying Allie!

Hand Standin' Allie

Muggin' it up while doing the beams.  Good job babe!

Addison has previously done Kindergym (for a month), and is now enrolled in the 5 and up class.  She is definitely the youngest in the class, but as they split it up between levels one, two and three, she is with other kids at about the same capability level.  It's fun to watch her pick up the techniques and she is definitely fearless!  The instructor put her on the beam and she just took off down it, no problem.  I about had a heart attack and so did the instructor, he had held hands with each of the other girls.  LOL.  Good job Adds!

Swing Set Project

Another day, another project.
The tarp stuff that came on the swing set lasted one summer of wind and sun.  Since then it's been pretty bare up there.
But not anymore!
Rob put up the cross brace pieces and then put up the slats.  We will spray stain it the dark to match the patio cover and voila!  better than new!

I love this!  It looks so good.  Good job Babe!!!

Monster Boy

So while I was in Oregon, Robbie had some free time on his hands.  During this time, while surfing the net, he realized that his countless can tabs from Monsters could actually buy him Monster merchandise.  A monster was created.
So he went to the garage and took every tab off of every can in the six bags of cans we had in the garage.  Then he went to the website and went crazy.
His ginormous shipping bag from Monster showed up today and his nearly 4 million tabs bought him a sweatshirt, a tshirt, a beanie and a backpack.  Also a decal set and posters.  OMGOSH.  Seriously?
Oh and now, "for me", he is drinking thirty more monsters so I can have a t-shirt too. oh thank you honey. Thank you sooo much.
