My Project! =)
Okay, so I recently saw this "makeup board" project and wanted to make one for myself. Today I did so....here's what I did...
First I rummaged in the closet under the stairs and found this frame. Ikea, super cheap.
Then when we were at Lowe's getting an attic fan, I got this metal for a whopping $8.48.
I already had the glue gun of course, and 50 magnets from Michaels was $6.49.
The project I saw online used fabric stuck to the metal with spray adhesive, but i came up with an idea I like better....contact paper. It's self-stick and when it gets gross you can just wipe it down and good as new. Or if you want to change the look, much easier to remove than the fabric idea. This contact paper i found in my closet, totally didn't even remember I had it!
So here it is: My finished product. I was looking to meet two goals.
#1 - clean up my vanity.

Our little fishies!
He's so cute.

We were buddies today and she wanted to do 13 laps in the lazy river. We ended up doing 20, she was soo lovin' swimmin' by herself today.

more from DRYTOWN
Allie did so great and just wanted to "swim" in the shallow water on her belly and then belly flop on the water and swim again. She did GREAT.
Addison coming down the slide. She loved it. They have 3 different ones in the little kid play center.
Daddy and Allie chillin'.
For like 5 minutes they kick everyone out of the water to check for any unexpected items in the water. lol (gross). We took the opportunity to have a sip and then headed back in.
They also have a lazy river. Which was awesome and the girls impressed me so much. We put a life vest on Addison and she totally swam by herself down the lazy river! I was shocked and so impressed! Then we put one on Allie and she laid flat on her back and pretended to be asleep while she floated down the river with her eyes closed! It was our first time at Drytown, but definitely not our last!
